AFLAR HPRs
AFLAR HPR (Health Professionals in Rheumatology) is a network of national organizations of Health Professionals in Rheumatology across Africa, it serves as a platform for collaboration and shared information among the different health professionals working with rheumatology.
The Community aims to promote multidisciplinary collaboration in the treatment of rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases in Africa.
AFLAR ARPA
AFLAR Rheumatology Patient Alliance, ARPA which aims to help establish a Support Group in every African Country, ensuring that every African country has at least one active and sustainable support group for rheumatic disease patients by 2030.AFLAR ARPA is a network of national organizations representing individuals with arthritis and rheumatism across Africa. Its mission is to amplify the voices of those with rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases (RMDs) to influence African decision-makers and to build impactful alliances that enhance their lives.
AFLAR YOUNG PERSONS NETWORK
Become a part of AFLAR YPN and explore a wealth of opportunities in rheumatology. Network with professionals worldwide, access exclusive resources and enjoy benefits such as mentorship, career advancement, and participation in collaborative research projects. Eligible applicants include young rheumatologists, rheumatology trainees, researchers, and medical or science students interested in Rheumatology, all under the age of 40.
Special Interest Groups
AFLAR hosts several Special Interest Groups (SIGs) that offer unique insights into different aspects of rheumatology. These SIGs provide informal networks for discussion and information exchange within their specific areas.
Our SIGs are managed by dedicated individuals who organize meetings, share information, and propose sessions for the Annual Conference. One or more individuals voluntarily establish these groups to benefit their interest communities.
SIGs are crucial in delivering research and educational benefits to members, organizing collaborative or clinical research projects, standardizing therapies, and coordinating audits.
