AFLAR membership is valuable for several reasons, including but not limited to group identity for the cause of rheumatic diseases in Africa, professional development opportunities, collaboration and engagement with the global rheumatology community, research grants and participation, special interest groups, etc. Payment of annual dues is a prerequisite to these and many more benefits available in the group, and, more importantly, it helps run the affairs of AFLAR.
